Responsibilities
- Source and engage top-tier software engineers, data scientists, and IT professionals through LinkedIn, GitHub, and niche tech forums
- Manage full-cycle recruitment from initial screening to offer negotiation with 15-20 open technical roles monthly
- Develop deep partnerships with Portland-based tech companies including Nike, Intel, and emerging startups
- Implement data-driven recruitment strategies using ATS platforms like Greenhouse and Lever
- Conduct technical screenings and coordinate interviews with hiring managers across diverse tech stacks
- Maintain accurate candidate pipelines and recruitment analytics in CRM systems
- Represent Nexus at Portland tech meetups and industry networking events
Qualifications
- 3+ years of technical recruiting experience with proven track record placing software developers
- Deep understanding of Portland's tech ecosystem and in-demand skill sets (Python, React, AWS, etc.)
- Expertise in Boolean search strings and advanced candidate sourcing techniques
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to assess technical aptitude
- Familiarity with compliance requirements for tech recruitment in Oregon
- Proficiency with recruitment tools: LinkedIn Recruiter, SeekOut, and Calendly
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or related technical field
