What You Will Do
As a Staffing Specialist, you will manage the full lifecycle of recruitment for our diverse client base. Your primary focus will be on sourcing, screening, and placing candidates in roles ranging from administrative to industrial.
Responsibilities
- Source candidates through various channels including LinkedIn, job boards, and networking events.
- Conduct comprehensive phone and in-person interviews to assess candidate skills and cultural fit.
- Manage the applicant tracking system (ATS) to ensure accurate data entry and pipeline management.
- Collaborate with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and create job descriptions.
- Facilitate the onboarding process for new temporary and permanent hires.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with local businesses and candidates in the Detroit area.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in staffing, recruiting, or human resources.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency with MS Office Suite and Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS).
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a high volume of candidates.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation (for on-site client visits).
- High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree in HR or Business preferred.
