Responsibilities
- Source, screen, and interview candidates for temporary, contract, and direct-hire positions across diverse industries
- Build and maintain strong relationships with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and requirements
- Manage the full recruitment lifecycle: job postings, candidate outreach, interviews, and onboarding
- Ensure timely weekly payroll processing for temporary staff while maintaining compliance with labor laws
- Develop creative sourcing strategies to attract passive candidates and fill hard-to-fill roles
- Utilize ATS systems to track candidates, positions, and placement metrics
- Conduct market research to stay informed about industry trends and salary benchmarks
Qualifications
- 3+ years of staffing, recruiting, or agency experience with proven placement success
- Expertise in sourcing candidates for contract/temporary roles with weekly pay structures
- Strong proficiency in Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and recruitment CRM platforms
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
- Deep understanding of California labor laws and payroll compliance requirements
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field preferred
- Professional Recruiter (CPC) or Staffing and Recruiting Certification (CSRP) a plus
