Responsibilities
- Source, screen, and place qualified candidates in contract, contract-to-hire, and direct-hire roles across diverse industries
- Build and maintain robust candidate pipelines through proactive sourcing, networking, and job board utilization
- Conduct in-depth candidate interviews and assessments to ensure perfect role alignment
- Collaborate with hiring managers to understand requirements and develop tailored recruitment strategies
- Manage full-cycle recruitment processes including offer negotiations, onboarding, and post-placement follow-up
- Leverage Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and CRM tools to track metrics and optimize workflows
- Represent Apex Talent Group at industry events and job fairs to expand our talent network
Qualifications
- 3+ years of recruitment/staffing agency experience with proven track record in direct hiring
- Expertise in sourcing passive candidates via LinkedIn, Indeed, and niche job boards
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in ATS platforms (e.g., Bullhorn, Jobvite) and Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong understanding of Kansas City's job market and key industry sectors
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field preferred
- PHR/SPHR certification a plus
