Responsibilities
- Source and engage top-tier software engineers, DevOps specialists, and data scientists across Illinois
- Manage full-cycle recruitment for high-growth tech clients in Chicago and surrounding areas
- Develop strategic talent pipelines through targeted sourcing on GitHub, LinkedIn, and niche tech forums
- Conduct technical screenings and coordinate interviews with engineering hiring managers
- Negotiate competitive offers and ensure seamless onboarding experiences
- Leverage ATS systems to track metrics and optimize recruitment strategies
- Maintain 95% client satisfaction through proactive communication and market insights
Qualifications
- 3+ years technical recruiting experience with a focus on software engineering roles
- Proven track record of closing 15+ placements annually in competitive markets
- Expert knowledge of Illinois tech talent landscape and compensation benchmarks
- Proficiency in Boolean search, LinkedIn Recruiter, and modern sourcing tools
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to assess technical competencies
- Experience working with VMS platforms and enterprise-level staffing
- Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, or related technical field preferred
- Certified Staffing Professional (CSP) designation a plus
