Responsibilities
- Develop and execute full-cycle recruitment strategies for hard-to-fill technical roles across software engineering, data science, and DevOps
- Build and maintain robust pipelines of passive candidates using advanced sourcing techniques including Boolean searches, GitHub analysis, and targeted outreach
- Collaborate with hiring managers to define role requirements, craft compelling job descriptions, and refine interview processes
- Manage applicant tracking systems (ATS) and leverage data analytics to optimize recruitment metrics and time-to-fill
- Conduct technical interviews and assessments to evaluate candidate proficiency in relevant technologies
- Negotiate competitive compensation packages and ensure seamless candidate onboarding experiences
- Stay current with emerging tech trends, salary benchmarks, and competitive landscape in Bay Area tech markets
Qualifications
- 5+ years of technical recruiting experience with demonstrable success in placing software engineers, data scientists, or infrastructure specialists
- Proven expertise in sourcing passive candidates through niche channels like GitHub, Stack Overflow, and specialized tech forums
- Deep technical understanding across programming languages (Python, Java, JavaScript), cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), and modern frameworks
- Mastery of applicant tracking systems (Greenhouse, Lever, Workday) and recruitment analytics tools
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to articulate technical concepts to diverse stakeholders
- Strong business acumen with experience advising clients on talent strategy and market positioning
- Track record of exceeding KPIs including time-to-fill, quality-of-hire, and retention metrics
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or related technical field preferred
