Responsibilities
- Develop and execute full-cycle recruitment strategies for technical roles across Illinois' diverse industries
- Build and maintain robust candidate pipelines using AI-powered sourcing tools and traditional networking
- Conduct technical interviews and assessments for software engineers, data scientists, and cybersecurity professionals
- Partner with Illinois-based tech companies to understand hiring needs and organizational culture
- Maintain compliance with EEOC and Illinois labor regulations throughout recruitment process
- Analyze market trends to provide competitive intelligence on Illinois' tech talent landscape
- Mentor junior recruiters on advanced sourcing techniques and candidate engagement strategies
Qualifications
- 5+ years of technical recruitment experience with proven track record in Illinois market
- Expertise in sourcing and placing specialized technical roles (AI, cloud, DevOps, etc.)
- Deep understanding of Illinois tech ecosystem and key industry players
- Strong technical aptitude to evaluate engineering candidates and technical requirements
- Certified Staffing Professional (CSP) or SHRM-SCP preferred
- Experience with applicant tracking systems (Greenhouse, Lever, Workday)
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to influence stakeholders across Illinois
- History of meeting or exceeding revenue targets in staffing environment
