Responsibilities
- Full-cycle recruitment for technical roles including software engineering, cloud architecture, and data science positions
- Develop and execute innovative sourcing strategies across LinkedIn, GitHub, and niche technical forums
- Conduct in-depth technical screenings and behavioral assessments with candidates
- Manage client relationships and provide consultative hiring recommendations
- Mentor junior recruiters and optimize our ATS workflows for efficiency
- Analyze market trends to inform competitive compensation packages and job descriptions
- Organize and participate in Portland tech community events and university recruiting initiatives
Qualifications
- 5+ years of technical recruitment experience with a focus on software engineering roles
- Proven track record of closing 20+ technical placements annually
- Deep understanding of Portland's tech ecosystem and startup culture
- Expertise in applicant tracking systems (Greenhouse, Lever) and Boolean search techniques
- Exceptional communication skills with the ability to translate technical requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field
- Professional Recruiter (PR) or Certified Staffing Professional (CSP) certification preferred
- Portfolio demonstrating successful placements with Portland-based tech companies
