Responsibilities
- Design and implement RESTful APIs using Node.js and TypeScript
- Lead cloud infrastructure deployments on AWS (EC2, S3, Lambda)
- Mentor junior engineers through code reviews and pair programming
- Optimize database performance using PostgreSQL and Redis
- Implement CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and Docker
- Conduct system architecture planning and technical documentation
- Collaborate with product teams on feature prioritization
Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional software development experience
- Expertise in JavaScript/TypeScript and Node.js frameworks
- Strong knowledge of cloud services (AWS/GCP) and containerization
- Experience with microservices architecture and event-driven design
- Proficient in testing frameworks (Jest, Mocha) and TDD principles
- Familiarity with financial systems compliance (PCI DSS, SOX)
- Excellent problem-solving skills and collaborative communication
