Responsibilities
- Lead strategic foresight for Horizon Labs' 2026 Initiative, mapping technological convergence paths across AI, biotech, and quantum computing
- Architect blueprints for next-gen digital ecosystems including decentralized networks and human-AI symbiosis frameworks
- Direct R&D teams in prototyping breakthrough technologies with 5-10 year commercialization horizons
- Develop patent portfolios and IP strategies for emerging technologies with projected $1B+ market impact
- Forge strategic partnerships with academic institutions, governments, and Fortune 500 companies
- Present technological roadmaps to C-suite executives and board members with data-driven recommendations
- Mentor interdisciplinary teams in ethical innovation and responsible development practices
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Quantum Physics, or related field with 10+ years in emerging technology R&D
- Proven track record of commercializing breakthrough technologies (e.g., AI, blockchain, biotech)
- Deep expertise in at least three of: quantum computing, neuromorphic systems, synthetic biology, or decentralized architectures
- Experience leading $50M+ R&D initiatives with measurable market impact
- Published research in top-tier journals (Nature, Science, etc.) or equivalent industry recognition
- Exceptional strategic communication skills with ability to translate complex concepts for diverse stakeholders
- Portfolio demonstrating successful technological forecasting and implementation
