Responsibilities
- Design and execute multi-year strategic foresight initiatives for 2026 technological convergence
- Lead scenario-planning workshops with C-suite executives across aerospace, biotech, and climate tech sectors
- Develop patent-pending predictive algorithms using quantum-inspired computing frameworks
- Produce whitepapers and policy briefs for UN Global Compact and World Economic Forum summits
- Mentor a cross-functional team of PhD researchers and industry disruptors
- Secure $5M+ in innovation grants from DARPA, NSF, and private venture consortiums
Qualifications
- PhD in Futures Studies, Systems Theory, or equivalent with 10+ years applied foresight experience
- Proven track record of delivering 2020+ strategic visions realized in commercial/public sectors
- Expertise in exponential technology forecasting (quantum, AGI, synthetic biology)
- Published author in Technological Forecasting and Social Change or equivalent tier-1 journal
- Fluency in at least two strategic foresight methodologies (e.g., Delphi, Horizon Scanning)
- Deep network with Singularity University, MIT Media Lab, or equivalent innovation ecosystem
- Portfolio of 3+ implemented 5-year strategies with measurable market impact
