Responsibilities
- Lead the 2026 Initiative's strategic foresight program, identifying and evaluating disruptive technologies and market trends with 5-10 year horizons
- Develop and implement scenario planning frameworks to prepare the organization for multiple future possibilities
- Partner with R&D to accelerate innovation cycles and translate future insights into product roadmaps
- Present compelling futures narratives to executive stakeholders and board members through data-driven storytelling
- Establish and maintain a global network of futurists, technologists, and industry disruptors
- Drive cultural transformation by embedding foresight methodologies across all business units
- Quantify future opportunities through market modeling and ROI analysis for strategic investments
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic planning, innovation management, or futurism with Fortune 500 or hyper-growth tech experience
- Advanced degree in Business, Economics, Technology, or Futures Studies (PhD/MBA preferred)
- Proven track record of developing and implementing successful long-term strategic initiatives
- Expertise in emerging technologies: AI/ML, quantum computing, biotech, and decentralized systems
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to synthesize complex data into actionable insights
- Executive presence with demonstrated success influencing C-suite decisions
- Published thought leader in futurism or strategic foresight (white papers, industry journals)
