Responsibilities
- Analyze macro-trends (technological, social, economic) to identify 2026+ disruptive opportunities
- Develop scenario-planning frameworks for multi-industry futures
- Lead cross-functional 'Future Labs' to prototype next-gen solutions
- Translate foresight into executable product roadmaps and business models
- Establish strategic partnerships with emerging tech pioneers
- Present future scenarios to investors and board members
- Mentor innovation teams in applied futurism methodologies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic innovation, futurism, or C-suite strategy roles
- Published research on exponential technologies or societal shifts
- Expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and systems thinking
- Track record of launching future-focused ventures/products
- Deep understanding of AI, quantum computing, and biotech trajectories
- Experience with global futures organizations (e.g., WFS, Foresight Practitioners)
- PhD or advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Theory, or relevant field
