Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech) and their societal impacts through horizon scanning and scenario modeling
- Develop strategic frameworks for clients to navigate 2026-2030 market transformations
- Lead cross-functional workshops with executives to translate foresight into executable strategies
- Produce high-impact reports and visualizations for C-level decision-makers
- Build and maintain a global network of futurists, technologists, and industry disruptors
- Advance Horizon Dynamics' thought leadership through whitepapers and conference presentations
- Mentor junior strategists in futures methodologies and strategic foresight principles
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, Economics, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategic consulting, innovation, or corporate foresight roles
- Proven expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and systems thinking
- Deep knowledge of exponential technologies and their disruptive potential
- Exceptional presentation skills with experience to executive audiences
- Portfolio demonstrating successful strategic foresight projects
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., from the University of Houston or foresight.org)
- Experience with AI-driven trend analysis tools a plus
