Responsibilities
- Analyze exponential technology trends (AI, quantum computing, biotech) to identify disruptive opportunities for 2026+ market landscapes
- Develop and lead strategic foresight frameworks including scenario planning and horizon scanning methodologies
- Partner with R&D to prototype future-proof solutions addressing climate resilience, AI ethics, and human augmentation
- Present compelling narratives to stakeholders through executive briefings and immersive foresight workshops
- Curate an innovation ecosystem by engaging with academic institutions, startups, and policy think tanks
- Lead cross-functional teams to translate foresight insights into actionable product roadmaps
- Establish KPIs for measuring future-readiness and innovation ROI
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation management, or futures research with demonstrable impact on organizational strategy
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related field (PhD preferred)
- Expertise in scenario planning, Delphi methods, and trend analysis frameworks
- Proven track record of translating speculative insights into commercial innovations
- Deep knowledge of exponential technologies (GenAI, quantum, synthetic biology)
- Exceptional communication skills with experience presenting to C-suite and boards
- Certification in strategic foresight (e.g., from APF or WFS) or equivalent experience
- Portfolio demonstrating published foresight work or implemented innovation strategies
