Responsibilities
- Analyze global technological, economic, and societal trends to identify disruptive opportunities and risks through 2026
- Develop scenario-based strategic frameworks for organizational resilience and innovation pipelines
- Lead cross-functional workshops to embed foresight methodologies into product development and business planning
- Produce executive-grade trend reports and future impact assessments for stakeholder decision-making
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions, think tanks, and industry pioneers to pioneer emerging technologies
- Mentor innovation teams in applying futures thinking to current business challenges
- Represent the organization at global forums on future-focused topics including AI ethics, climate resilience, and human augmentation
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, Innovation Management, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years of experience in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or future-focused R&D
- Proven track record of developing and implementing future scenarios for Fortune 500 companies
- Expertise in trend analysis methodologies including horizon scanning, Delphi techniques, and systems thinking
- Deep understanding of emerging technologies: quantum computing, synthetic biology, AGI, and climate tech
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to translate complex future concepts into actionable strategies
- Portfolio demonstrating successful futures projects with measurable business impact
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., from ACIF or similar) strongly preferred
