Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis to identify disruptive technologies and societal shifts through 2026
- Develop scenario-based strategic roadmaps for product development and market expansion
- Facilitate executive workshops on future-proofing business models and innovation frameworks
- Establish cross-functional innovation labs to prototype emerging solutions
- Author quarterly foresight reports with data-driven predictions and actionable recommendations
- Manage partnerships with academic institutions and innovation think tanks
- Mentor junior futurists and build an internal foresight capability
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or technology trend analysis
- Proven track record of translating future insights into commercial strategies
- Expertise in horizon scanning, scenario planning, and systems thinking methodologies
- Deep knowledge of exponential technologies (AI, biotech, quantum computing)
- Exceptional presentation skills with executive audiences globally
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Technology Management, or related field
- Published thought leadership in futurism or innovation strategy
- Experience scaling innovation frameworks in Fortune 500 environments
