Responsibilities
- Forecast technological, economic, and societal trends impacting 2026+ landscapes using predictive analytics and scenario modeling
- Develop comprehensive 5-year innovation roadmaps aligning with organizational growth objectives
- Lead 'Future Labs' workshops to ideate breakthrough solutions for emerging markets
- Present compelling future-vision narratives to executive teams and board members
- Partner with R&D to prototype next-gen products/services targeting 2026 adoption curves
- Monitor global innovation ecosystems and identify disruptive partnership opportunities
- Author thought leadership publications positioning the company as a futurism authority
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, Technology Innovation, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years experience in trend analysis, innovation strategy, or futurism consulting
- Proven track record of translating foresight into commercial strategies
- Expertise in scenario planning, horizon scanning, and weak-signal detection
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, quantum, biotech, etc.)
- Exceptional presentation skills with executive audiences
- Portfolio of published future-vision work or innovation frameworks
- Experience leading cross-functional teams through ambiguity and uncertainty
