Responsibilities
- Conduct horizon-scanning research across quantum computing, synthetic biology, and decentralized economies
- Develop 2026+ strategic frameworks using predictive modeling and scenario planning
- Lead cross-functional workshops with R&D, product, and investment teams
- Author quarterly trend briefs and executive presentations with 95% adoption rate
- Collaborate with Stanford's Long Now Foundation on temporal forecasting methodologies
- Advise on ESG implications of emerging technologies for Fortune 500 clients
- Mentor junior futurists in our Future Leaders Academy
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years in strategic foresight, trend analysis, or innovation consulting
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ horizon-scanning projects with measurable impact
- Expertise in causal layered analysis, backcasting, and Delphi methodologies
- Proficiency with AI trend tools (e.g., GPT-4, Trendalyzer) and data visualization
- Published work in peer-reviewed futures journals or industry white papers
- Experience presenting to executive audiences across global enterprises
