You'll operate from our state-of-the-art Austin campus—a living laboratory for future-focused experimentation.
Responsibilities
- Analyze exponential technology convergence (AI, biotech, quantum systems) to identify disruptive business models
- Develop scenario-planning frameworks for 2026+ market transformations
- Lead cross-functional workshops with C-suite executives on future-proofing strategies
- Produce trend-impact reports guiding $2B+ R&D portfolio allocation
- Design ethical governance protocols for emerging technologies
- Represent company at global futurist forums (Davos, Singularity Summit)
- Mentor junior futurists in horizon-scanning methodologies
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or equivalent with 7+ years applied experience
- Published research on exponential technology adoption curves
- Portfolio demonstrating successful strategic foresight implementation
- Proficiency in horizon scanning, Delphi techniques, and causal layered analysis
- Deep understanding of biotech/AI convergence implications
- Experience advising Fortune 500 boards on 10-year transformation
- Compelling public speaking record at futurist conferences
- Fluency in at least two strategic foresight software platforms
