Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning initiatives to identify disruptive technologies and market shifts impacting 2026+ landscapes
- Develop quantitative and qualitative frameworks for forecasting long-term technology adoption patterns
- Design and facilitate strategic workshops with cross-functional teams to align on future innovation priorities
- Produce executive-ready trend reports and scenario-planning documents for stakeholder decision-making
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and research labs to access cutting-edge foresight methodologies
- Mentor junior futurists and build a robust future intelligence function within the organization
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Technology Forecasting, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years of experience in strategic foresight, innovation management, or technology consulting
- Proven track record of translating future trends into commercial opportunities and product roadmaps
- Expertise in scenario planning, Delphi methodology, and horizon scanning techniques
- Deep knowledge of emerging technologies: AI ethics, quantum computing, biotech convergence, and metaverse infrastructure
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to articulate complex futures to diverse audiences
- Published thought leadership in technology foresight or innovation strategy
