Responsibilities
- Lead strategic foresight initiatives mapping technological, social, and economic trends through 2026+
- Develop scenario-based frameworks for organizational resilience and competitive advantage
- Partner with C-suite to integrate future-focused insights into corporate strategy
- Design and facilitate innovation workshops using foresight methodologies (horizon scanning, Delphi, etc.)
- Produce high-impact trend reports and strategic briefings for stakeholders
- Mentor junior futurists and establish foresight best practices across departments
- Represent the organization at global futurism conferences and thought leadership forums
Qualifications
- 10+ years in futurism, strategic foresight, or innovation consulting
- Proven track record translating complex trends into executable business strategies
- Expertise in scenario planning, systems thinking, and trend analysis methodologies
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Sociology, Economics, or related field
- Deep understanding of emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech)
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to influence executive leadership
- Published thought leadership in futurism or strategy publications
- Certification in foresight methodologies (e.g., CFK, Foresight Practitioner)
