Responsibilities
- Lead strategic foresight initiatives to identify and analyze emerging technologies, social trends, and market disruptions relevant to 2026
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive innovation roadmap with 5-10 year horizons
- Facilitate cross-functional workshops to generate and validate future scenarios
- Partner with R&D teams to prototype and test cutting-edge concepts
- Present findings to executive leadership and influence product strategy
- Build and nurture a global network of futurists, academics, and industry experts
- Author thought leadership publications and white papers on future trends
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Technology, Business, Futures Studies, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years of experience in innovation strategy, R&D, or futurist roles
- Proven track record of translating future insights into successful products
- Expertise in emerging technologies: AI, quantum computing, biotech, or AR/VR
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to synthesize complex information
- Strong presentation and storytelling skills for executive audiences
- Experience managing innovation pipelines and prototyping processes
- Portfolio demonstrating published futurist work or successful innovation projects
