We are currently scaling up our flagship fintech platform and require an expert developer to lead critical architectural decisions and implementation tasks. This role offers the flexibility of a contract while providing the stability and resources of a Fortune 500 environment.

Responsibilities
- Architecture & Design: Design, develop, and implement scalable full-stack web applications using React, Node.js, and AWS.
- Code Leadership: Lead code reviews, mentor junior developers, and establish coding standards to ensure maintainability and performance.
- API Development: Design and consume RESTful APIs and GraphQL endpoints to facilitate seamless data flow between front-end and back-end systems.
- Optimization: Analyze application bottlenecks and implement performance tuning to ensure 99.9% uptime.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, designers, and QA engineers to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Testing & Deployment: Write comprehensive unit and integration tests, and automate CI/CD pipelines for rapid deployment.
Qualifications
- Experience: 5+ years of professional experience in full-stack software development.
- Tech Stack: Proficiency in React (frontend), Node.js/Express (backend), and PostgreSQL/MongoDB (databases).
- Cloud: Strong experience with AWS services (EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS).
- Tools: Experience with Git, Docker, Kubernetes, and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Availability: Must be able to start immediately and commit to a 6-month contract term.
