Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain robust full-stack web applications using modern frameworks such as React, Node.js, and Python.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, designers, and engineers to define feature requirements and technical architecture.
- Optimize application performance, ensuring high availability and scalability on both cloud and on-premise infrastructure.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code with a strong emphasis on security and best practices.
- Conduct code reviews, provide mentorship to junior developers, and contribute to technical documentation.
- Participate in agile ceremonies such as daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives to drive continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in full-stack software development.
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+), React, and Node.js.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS or Azure) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Familiarity with relational and NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work autonomously in a contract setting.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the USA and able to commute to Houston, TX for required on-site days.
