Responsibilities
- Data Mining & Analysis: Extract, clean, and analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvement.
- Dashboard Creation: Develop interactive data visualizations and dashboards using tools like Tableau or Power BI to present findings to stakeholders.
- Reporting: Generate comprehensive reports and executive summaries that translate technical data into business recommendations.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including project managers and subject matter experts, to define data requirements.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure data integrity and accuracy through rigorous testing and validation processes.
- Process Optimization: Recommend process improvements to enhance data collection and analysis workflows.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Experience: 3+ years of professional experience in data analysis or business intelligence.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL, Python, or R for data manipulation and analysis.
- Visualization: Strong experience creating visual reports in Tableau, PowerBI, or similar software.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain complex data to non-technical audiences.
- Location: Must be willing to work in Washington, DC or maintain availability for hybrid meetings.
