Responsibilities
- Oversee Global Infrastructure: Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of stadium-wide Wi-Fi, 5G, and fiber optic networks to support 90,000+ concurrent users.
- Legacy Integration: Lead the technical integration of legacy broadcast systems with modern cloud-based content management platforms.
- Vendor Management: Direct relationships with key technology partners, ensuring SLAs are met and innovation is delivered on time.
- Security & Compliance: Implement robust cybersecurity protocols to protect fan data and operational continuity during high-profile events.
- Fan Engagement Tech: Spearhead the deployment of mobile apps, AR/VR experiences, and digital ticketing solutions.
- Crisis Management: Develop and execute contingency plans for technical failures during live matches.
- Team Leadership: Mentor a diverse team of engineers, network architects, and IT support staff.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 10 years in large-scale event technology, stadium operations, or mega-event project management.
- Technical Expertise: Deep understanding of network architecture (Cisco/Juniper), broadcast engineering, and data center operations.
- Project Management: PMP or Prince2 certification with a proven track record of managing multi-million dollar budgets.
- Communication: Exceptional ability to communicate complex technical concepts to executive stakeholders and non-technical teams.
- Agile Mindset: Proficiency in Agile and Scrum methodologies for rapid deployment cycles.
- Travel: Willingness to travel to host venues and international off-sites as required.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related engineering field.
