Join our dynamic team as a Senior Cloud Engineer for a high-impact 6-month contract position in Houston. You'll architect scalable AWS solutions, optimize cloud infrastructure, and drive innovation for enterprise clients. This role offers remote flexibility with occasional on-site collaboration in our state-of-the-art downtown facility.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement secure, scalable cloud architectures on AWS
- Optimize cloud infrastructure for performance and cost-efficiency
- Develop CI/CD pipelines using Terraform and Jenkins
- Lead migration projects from on-premises to cloud environments
- Provide expert-level troubleshooting for complex cloud issues
- Mentor junior engineers and document best practices
Qualifications
- 5+ years of AWS experience with certification (Solutions Architect Professional preferred)
- Expertise in Kubernetes, Docker, and serverless technologies
- Strong scripting skills (Python, Bash, PowerShell)
- Proven track record in cloud migration and optimization
- Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
