Responsibilities
- Design and implement secure, scalable RESTful APIs and microservices using Python and Node.js.
- Optimize database performance and architecture for high-throughput applications.
- Lead code reviews, technical architecture discussions, and mentor junior developers.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define features and improve system reliability.
- Deploy and manage applications on cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure) using Docker and Kubernetes.
- Troubleshoot complex production issues and ensure 99.9% uptime.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in backend software development and design.
- Expert proficiency in Python (Django/Flask) or Node.js.
- Strong experience with SQL databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL solutions.
- Familiarity with cloud services (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and CI/CD pipelines.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently in a remote/hybrid setting.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
