Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable microservices architecture using Node.js and AWS
- Optimize database performance for PostgreSQL and Redis systems handling 10M+ daily transactions
- Lead CI/CD pipeline improvements using Kubernetes and Terraform
- Mentor junior engineers through code reviews and technical documentation
- Conduct security audits and implement robust data encryption protocols
- Collaborate with product teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions
Qualifications
- 8+ years of backend development experience with Node.js and Python
- Expertise in cloud-native architectures (AWS/GCP) and containerization
- Strong background in distributed systems and high-availability design
- Proven track record of optimizing database performance at scale
- Certification in AWS Solutions Architect or equivalent
- Experience with fintech regulatory compliance (PCI-DSS, SOX)
- Ability to lead architectural decisions in cross-functional teams
