Responsibilities
- Architectural Leadership: Design and oversee the development of scalable AI infrastructure and machine learning pipelines with a focus on 2026-era standards.
- Model Optimization: Lead efforts to optimize model inference, reduce latency, and enhance energy efficiency in large-scale deployments.
- Research & Development: Stay at the forefront of AI advancements, evaluating and integrating cutting-edge techniques in LLMs, Reinforcement Learning, and Neural Architecture Search.
- Team Mentorship: Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and data scientists, fostering a culture of continuous learning and excellence.
- Strategic Collaboration: Partner with product and engineering teams to translate complex business requirements into high-level technical solutions.
- Risk Management: Identify potential biases and ethical risks in AI models, implementing governance frameworks to ensure responsible AI deployment.
Qualifications
- Education: Master’s or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Mathematics, or a related technical field.
- Experience: 7+ years of professional experience in software engineering or machine learning, with at least 3 years in a senior or lead architectural role.
- Technical Stack: Proficiency in Python, PyTorch, TensorFlow, or JAX; deep understanding of distributed systems and cloud architectures (AWS/GCP/Azure).
- Problem Solving: Exceptional ability to solve complex, unstructured problems and design robust systems for unpredictable environments.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
