Responsibilities
- Lead Strategic Planning: Define and execute the technical roadmap for the 2026 infrastructure overhaul, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Design Next-Gen Systems: Architect scalable cloud-native solutions and quantum-ready frameworks for high-volume data processing.
- Security & Compliance: Implement advanced cybersecurity protocols to protect assets against evolving digital threats in a decentralized network.
- Team Mentorship: Lead a team of junior architects and engineers, fostering a culture of innovation and technical excellence.
- Vendor Management: Evaluate and select third-party technologies that align with our 2026 vision.
- Performance Optimization: Continuously monitor system performance and drive efficiency improvements across the enterprise.
- Disaster Recovery: Develop robust failover strategies to ensure 99.999% uptime in critical scenarios.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- Experience: 10+ years of experience in systems architecture, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
- Technical Skills: Deep expertise in Kubernetes, microservices, and AI integration. Familiarity with 2026-era protocols (e.g., Quantum-resistant encryption, Edge computing standards) is a major plus.
- Problem Solving: Proven track record of solving complex architectural challenges in large-scale environments.
- Communication: Exceptional ability to translate complex technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders.
- Agile Mindset: Experience leading Agile and DevOps methodologies in fast-paced, iterative environments.
- Location: Must be willing to work from our Austin, TX headquarters or a fully remote US-based location.
