Job Description
Are you ready to architect the future of computing? Nexus Future Systems is seeking a visionary Quantum Infrastructure Architect to lead our transition into the post-classical era. In this pivotal role, you will design the foundational layers of next-generation quantum networks, bridging the gap between theoretical physics and practical enterprise deployment. Join us in shaping the technological landscape of 2026 and beyond.
We are looking for a leader who is not just comfortable with uncertainty, but thrives in it. You will be responsible for building scalable, fault-tolerant quantum computing environments and integrating them with classical AI systems. If you possess a deep understanding of quantum mechanics and a passion for building the impossible, we want to hear from you.
Responsibilities
- Design and deploy scalable quantum computing architectures, including QPU integration and cloud hybrid environments.
- Lead the migration of legacy data systems to quantum-resistant algorithms and secure quantum key distribution (QKD) networks.
- Collaborate with a cross-functional team of quantum physicists, software engineers, and AI specialists to optimize quantum algorithms.
- Establish best practices for quantum error correction and hardware fault tolerance.
- Define the technical roadmap for our 2026 quantum infrastructure expansion.
- Conduct research on emerging quantum technologies and evaluate their applicability to our product suite.
Qualifications
- Masterβs or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Physics, Applied Mathematics, or a related engineering field.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in systems architecture, with a focus on high-performance computing or cloud infrastructure.
- Hands-on experience with quantum programming frameworks such as Qiskit, Cirq, or PyQuil.
- Deep understanding of quantum gates, circuits, and noise models.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to mentor junior engineers and technical leads.
- Proven track record of delivering complex technical projects on time and within budget.
