Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for optimization and cryptography
- Lead experimental validation on 500+ qubit quantum processors
- Publish 3+ peer-reviewed papers annually in Nature/Science
- Develop error-correction protocols for fault-tolerant quantum systems
- Collaborate with AI teams on hybrid quantum-classical models
- Secure $2M+ in research grants from DARPA/NSF
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 5+ years experience with quantum gate operations and circuit design
- Expertise in Python/C++ with quantum frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq)
- Publication record in top-tier quantum computing journals
- Familiarity with cryogenic engineering and superconducting qubits
- Strong background in linear algebra and quantum information theory
