Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning initiatives to identify paradigm-shifting technologies and market disruptions
- Develop strategic roadmaps for 2026+ product ecosystems integrating quantum computing and neural interfaces
- Conduct scenario planning workshops with C-suite executives to prepare for regulatory and ethical shifts
- Author white papers on human-AI symbiosis and decentralized autonomous organizations
- Partner with venture capital teams to identify and acquire emerging talent and IP
- Represent Nexus Horizons at global futurist forums and academic symposiums
Qualifications
- 15+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or emerging technology leadership
- Proven track record of successfully commercializing futuristic concepts
- Deep expertise in at least two of: AI governance, synthetic biology, or quantum applications
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed journals or industry publications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or equivalent field
- Fluency in trend-mapping frameworks (e.g., Horizon Scanning, Delphi Method)
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (preferred)
