Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for optimization problems in AI and machine learning
- Develop error-correction protocols for quantum coherence beyond 2026 standards
- Collaborate with hardware engineers to optimize quantum circuit architectures
- Lead cross-functional projects on quantum-resistant cryptography systems
- Publish groundbreaking research in Nature/Science journals
- Mentor junior researchers in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit)
Qualifications
- PhD in Physics, Computer Science, or Quantum Information with 3+ years research experience
- Proficiency in quantum programming frameworks (Cirq, Qiskit, or Q#)
- Published work in quantum algorithm development or quantum error correction
- Deep understanding of quantum mechanics principles at graduate level
- Experience with high-performance computing environments (HPC)
- Strong background in linear algebra and probability theory
- Track record of securing federal or corporate research grants
