Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization and machine learning
- Lead hardware-software co-development with quantum processor teams
- Author peer-reviewed publications and patent quantum methodologies
- Collaborate with defense and healthcare sectors to deploy quantum solutions
- Mentor PhD candidates in quantum information science
- Develop error-correction protocols for fault-tolerant quantum systems
- Present breakthrough findings at international quantum symposiums
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 3+ years of hands-on quantum circuit development experience
- Published research in quantum algorithms or quantum error correction
- Proficiency with Qiskit, Cirq, or equivalent quantum frameworks
- Deep understanding of NISQ-era limitations and mitigation strategies
- Experience with superconducting or photonic quantum systems
- Strong background in linear algebra and quantum information theory
- Clearance for DoD quantum research projects (if applicable)
