Responsibilities
- Design and execute quantum algorithms for real-world applications targeting 2026 deployment
- Lead cross-functional teams in translating theoretical quantum models into practical solutions
- Publish peer-reviewed research in top-tier journals and present at international conferences
- Develop error-correction protocols to advance quantum processor reliability beyond current thresholds
- Collaborate with government agencies on quantum security standards for post-quantum cryptography
- Mentor junior researchers and contribute to quantum computing curriculum development
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent industry experience)
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with quantum computing frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, or Q#)
- Published research in quantum algorithms or quantum error correction
- Expertise in at least two of: quantum machine learning, quantum cryptography, or quantum materials simulation
- Proficiency in high-performance computing environments and parallel programming
- Strong track record of securing research grants or industry partnerships
- Demonstrated ability to communicate complex quantum concepts to diverse stakeholders
