Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for optimization, cryptography, and machine learning applications
- Develop novel error-correction techniques to stabilize qubits in quantum processors
- Collaborate with hardware teams to interface quantum systems with classical computing infrastructure
- Lead cross-functional research projects targeting quantum advantage milestones by 2026
- Publish findings in peer-reviewed journals and present at international conferences
- Mentor junior researchers and contribute to quantum computing open-source initiatives
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 3+ years research experience
- Expertise in quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#) and simulation frameworks
- Strong background in linear algebra, complex analysis, and quantum information theory
- Proven track record of publishing high-impact research in quantum computing
- Experience with NISQ-era hardware constraints and hybrid quantum-classical workflows
- Proficiency in Python, C++, and high-performance computing environments
- Demonstrated ability to secure research funding through grants and corporate partnerships
