Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for real-world applications
- Lead cross-functional R&D teams in quantum error correction research
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical computing frameworks
- Publish findings in top-tier journals (Nature, Science, etc.)
- Secure $1M+ in government/private research grants
- Mentor PhD candidates in quantum information science
Qualifications
- PhD in Physics, Computer Science, or related field (2020-2026)
- 5+ years experience with quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq)
- Published peer-reviewed quantum computing research
- Expertise in quantum decoherence mitigation techniques
- Proficiency with superconducting/qubit manipulation systems
- Track record of translating theoretical models to prototypes
