Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for cryptography optimization and simulation
- Lead experimental validation of quantum hardware prototypes at cryogenic temperatures
- Collaborate with MIT and Caltech partners on quantum error correction frameworks
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical machine learning pipelines
- Author whitepapers and patents for quantum-resistant security protocols
- Mentor PhD candidates in quantum information theory
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or Electrical Engineering
- 3+ years of hands-on quantum computing research experience
- Proficiency in Qiskit, Cirq, or equivalent quantum programming frameworks
- Published work in Nature/Science or IEEE Transactions on Quantum Engineering
- Deep understanding of quantum decoherence mitigation techniques
- Security clearance eligibility for DoD quantum initiatives
- Expertise in superconducting qubit architectures
