Responsibilities
- Design and implement fault-tolerant quantum computing architectures for 2026 deployment
- Lead cross-functional teams in quantum algorithm optimization and hardware-software co-design
- Develop quantum error correction protocols for scalable quantum systems
- Collaborate with industry partners to define quantum computing standards
- Research and integrate emerging quantum technologies (topological qubits, photonic computing)
- Mentor junior quantum engineers and contribute to patent development
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (Master's with exceptional experience)
- 5+ years in quantum computing architecture or advanced systems design
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant protocols
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#)
- Published research in quantum computing or peer-reviewed conference proceedings
- Experience with cryogenic quantum systems and photonic computing
- Strong background in high-performance computing and distributed systems
