Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable quantum computing architectures using superconducting qubits and topological systems
- Lead cross-functional teams of physicists, engineers, and AI specialists to develop quantum algorithms for real-world applications
- Establish quantum error correction protocols and fault-tolerant system architectures
- Collaborate with government agencies on quantum security standards for 2026 infrastructure
- Drive innovation in quantum machine learning integration for predictive analytics
- Present breakthrough research at global quantum computing conferences (Q2B, IEEE Quantum Week)
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 5+ years industry experience
- Proven expertise in quantum circuit design and quantum algorithm development
- Publication record in Nature/Science or top-tier quantum computing journals
- Experience with quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, Quipper)
- Deep understanding of quantum decoherence mitigation techniques
- Strong background in cryogenic engineering and quantum hardware integration
- Security clearance eligibility preferred for government projects
