Responsibilities
- Architect scalable quantum-classical hybrid systems
- Design fault-tolerant qubit networks using topological error correction
- Develop quantum-safe encryption protocols for 2026 deployment
- Lead cross-disciplinary teams of physicists and software engineers
- Optimize quantum algorithms for NISQ and fault-tolerant hardware
- Secure patents for novel quantum architectures
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or equivalent experience
- 3+ years implementing quantum algorithms on real hardware
- Expertise in Qiskit, Cirq, or quantum circuit optimization
- Published research in quantum error correction or topological computing
- Deep understanding of quantum entanglement and decoherence
- Experience with cryogenic quantum control systems
- Security clearance for government quantum projects (preferred)
