Responsibilities
- Design and architect scalable, high-performance AI systems capable of handling exabyte-scale data processing.
- Lead the research and implementation of advanced machine learning algorithms, including Large Language Models (LLMs) and generative AI.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate AI solutions into core product ecosystems.
- Define technical roadmaps and best practices for AI engineering within the organization.
- Mentor senior engineers and junior developers, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous learning.
- Evaluate and select emerging technologies to ensure Orbit Systems remains at the bleeding edge of the industry.
Qualifications
- PhD or Masterβs degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, or a related technical field.
- 10+ years of experience in software engineering, with at least 5 years specifically in AI/ML architecture.
- Proven experience deploying large-scale machine learning models in production environments.
- Deep expertise in Python, C++, and frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, or JAX.
- Strong understanding of distributed systems, cloud architecture (AWS/Azure/GCP), and microservices.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
