Responsibilities
- Design & Deployment: Architect and deploy scalable, high-performance machine learning models and inference pipelines using Python and modern cloud infrastructure (AWS/GCP).
- Research & Development: Stay at the forefront of AI research, implementing state-of-the-art techniques such as Transformers, Diffusion Models, and Reinforcement Learning.
- Model Optimization: Focus on model compression, quantization, and latency reduction to ensure real-time performance in production environments.
- Collaboration: Partner with cross-functional teams of data scientists, product managers, and engineers to translate complex business requirements into technical solutions.
- Mentorship: Mentor junior engineers, conduct code reviews, and contribute to a culture of technical excellence.
Qualifications
- Experience: 5+ years of professional experience in software engineering with a strong focus on AI/ML.
- Education: BS, MS, or PhD in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Python, PyTorch or TensorFlow, and SQL. Experience with LLMs and RAG architectures is highly preferred.
- Infrastructure: Strong understanding of cloud-native architectures (Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines).
- Problem Solving: Exceptional analytical skills with a track record of solving complex technical challenges.
