Responsibilities
- Sourcing and screening qualified candidates for temporary, contract, and part-time positions
- Conducting thorough phone and in-person interviews to assess candidate skills and fit
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with local businesses and hiring managers
- Managing applicant tracking system (ATS) data and ensuring candidate documentation compliance
- Coordinating interview logistics and providing timely feedback to candidates and clients
- Developing innovative sourcing strategies to identify passive candidates
- Participating in local job fairs and networking events to expand talent pipeline
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of recruitment or staffing agency experience required
- Proven track record of placing candidates in light industrial, administrative, or customer service roles
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with strong sales aptitude
- Familiarity with applicant tracking systems (e.g., Bullhorn, Workday)
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for client visits
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and deadline management
- Virginia Beach local market knowledge preferred
