Responsibilities
- Screen and interview candidates for diverse part-time and temporary positions across Detroit industries
- Build and maintain relationships with local businesses to understand staffing needs
- Manage applicant tracking system (ATS) databases and ensure candidate data accuracy
- Coordinate interview logistics between candidates and hiring managers
- Conduct reference checks and background verifications compliant with regulations
- Develop recruitment strategies to attract qualified talent in Detroit's competitive market
- Assist with onboarding processes for placed candidates
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor's degree preferred in HR, Business, or related field
- 1+ years of recruitment or staffing agency experience
- Proficiency with applicant tracking systems (e.g., Workday, Bullhorn) and Microsoft Office
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with diverse populations
- Strong organizational abilities with attention to detail in high-volume environments
- Valid Michigan driver's license and reliable transportation for client visits
- Knowledge of Michigan labor laws and compliance requirements
