Responsibilities
- Efficiently sort, scan, and package incoming shipments with 99.5% accuracy
- Operate electric pallet jacks and automated conveyor systems
- Maintain detailed inventory logs using RF scanners and WMS software
- Conduct pre-shift equipment safety inspections and report discrepancies
- Collaborate with day-shift teams for seamless inventory handoffs
- Adhere strictly to OSHA safety protocols and company SOPs
- Support quality control initiatives during peak processing hours
Qualifications
- Minimum 6 months warehouse or logistics experience preferred
- Valid forklift certification or willingness to obtain within 30 days
- Ability to lift 50 lbs repeatedly and stand/walk 8+ hours
- Proficient with handheld scanning devices and basic computer systems
- Strong attention to detail with proven error prevention track record
- Reliable transportation to NW Portland facility (public transit accessible)
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in low-light conditions
