Responsibilities
- Monitor patient vitals and document electronic health records
- Administer medications and treatments under physician supervision
- Assist with emergency response protocols during overnight hours
- Coordinate patient care with overnight nursing teams
- Prepare examination rooms and sterilize equipment
- Handle patient intake and discharge procedures
- Maintain strict HIPAA compliance standards
Qualifications
- Current Medical Assistant certification (CMA or RMA)
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience in hospital/urgent care
- BLS/CPR certification (required)
- Proficiency with EHR systems (Epic preferred)
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and stand for 8+ hours
- Valid NY State license
- Exceptional attention to detail during night shift hours
